Chao Lee Portrait Collection
The CLAF Portrait Collection honours
distinguished residents of Hong Kong
The Chao Lee Art Foundation Portrait Collection has been established to honour distinguished residents of Hong Kong, who have dedicated their lives to the city through philanthropy, public service and education.
In recognition of their contribution, CLAF will commission portraits of such personages to commemorate their legacy, paying homage to the rich heritage of Hong Kong.
The portrait collection will be inaugurated through the commission of twenty portraits over the next two years to culminate in an exhibition in Hong Kong 2027. In keeping with the foundation’s principle aims, CLAF continues to promote and support narrative portrait painting as an art form.
As a legacy of the foundation, the portrait collection will be promised to the city.
